Posted 2 months ago so i was wondering what the difference was between and emt, paramedic, and fire medic. |

| Posted 2 months ago Well basically, An EMT does basic life support and transportation; a medic can do more advanced life support: putting in IVs, giving medicine, whatnot; and a firemedic is a firefighter that is also a paramedic. Hope that helps! No one can make you feel inferior without your consent. |

| Posted 2 months ago With just EMT Basic you can do just basic first aid stuff splint, control hemorrage, ABC's stuff like that, paramedic you can start IV's and push drugs more advanced stuff. Im not sure about firemedic's because we dont have them aroound here. |

| Posted 2 months ago Well said. I would rather a paramedic perform some procedures on me than a doctor. |
