I am Forest Osborn, Assistant Fire Chief at Hooker, Oklahoma.  We have a 1952 American LaFrance Pumper for sale by sealed bids.  This truck was originally sold to Arlington Heights, IL Fire Department.  It is equipped with the original LaFrance V-12 motor and manual transmission, both in working condition.  It also has the original "Sterling Fire Alarm Company" mechanical siren in working condition.  It does need paint (still has Arlington Heights Fire Dept. on the doors) and some minor body work, but would make a great parade truck.  If anyone is interested in more info or photos, contact me at frostyo@ptsi.net.
