Posted 5 months ago Whats your favorite thing to do after a good structure fire? My buddies and I light up a cigar and say nothing.
Then I like to shower and sleep. :D Sometimes to maintain your authority in the face of criticism, you have to make stuff up. |

| Posted 5 months ago I like to come home and eat a good meal and maybe take a nice hot or cold shower depending on how nasty I got and how warm I am. Then I like to prepare myself for the next run, because that is what usually happens around here. It seems when there is a structure fire, all hell breaks loose. But sometimes if it was a very long structure fire like today we had an multiple apartment fire, I will get cleaned up and take my wife out to dinner. | Posted 5 months ago I like to do anything but clean up hose... lol I usually like just sitting around and chatting with people, especially when some of the mutual aid departments come over. |

| Posted 5 months ago When we get all done and the trucks are back in service it's off to home to shower. Sometimes we go eat depending on the time of day. We only have 2 places to eat in town, or the deli at the grocery store. |

There you go! That explains my deep attachment to south! WAFFLE HOUSE! Back when I was still a volly we would do the same thing. Good thing about the "HOUSE" is it being open 24/7. Oh! And playing the Waffle House song on the juke! Drove the staff nuts, especially when we would sing along. LOL |

LOL WE DO THE SAME THING!!! HA HA HA!! We walk in with our bunker-pants on and the staff heads for cover. Especially the grave-yard crew. One waitress even tried to shield the jukebox with her body so we wouldn't play the "Waffle House Song!" We tipped her extra for her efforts that failed. LOL |

| Posted 5 months ago Whats a structure fire?...lol The last structure fire I had and I like to do this after any good call is get a cup of coffee put my feet up and talk crap about how good we are. This usually lasts until next shift when we do a review and we get picked apart. Then we get a cup of coffee put our feet up and talk crap about how our chief doesn't know what he is talking about... : )
