Hoping to move to Texas

Posted 2 months ago SO, I've been a firefighter for about a year and 6 months now and have found my love, I finally figured out what I want to do the rest of my life. I'm hoping to move to Texas within the next few years after I finish paramedic. Any advice on how to join? Whats the testing like? How hard is it to get on a decent sized department? Things like that. Any info on it would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you! Jacquelyn |

| Posted about 1 month ago Where in Texas are you looking to move to? It'll be a little easier to offer any advise because Texas is so big and diverse that different regions are really different. |

| Posted 29 days ago Your Medic will help you. That is your golden key to a job in the Texas Fire Service. I know guys that Test for years and not get a bite. Then they get the medic patch and they have a job. Most have one before they are out of school. |
